SBSA client reported NOT Standard Bank with the number 0876880679 as Telemarketer
Caller identifies as on behalf of SBSA. This is deceptive. She is NOT a member of staff. Attempts to trap me into a verbal contract for an SBSA sim card which will increase my monthly expenses and is legally binding. Never once even tells me what is costs to make a phone call on this sim card - which means it is not an attempt to help ME but help herself and abandon me to the consequences. Managed to put a stop to the fast aggressive chatter by saying that I insist on going to my branch to discuss with them in person. And not budging nor prepared to negotiate on that closing comment. Memorize it. Simply keep on repeating it. Or save yourself 3 minutes and block this number.
