    They claim te from Standard bank and say there has been recent activities on your standard bank card. Then they give you a number to call. Standard bank does not know or recognize this number and suspects this to be a scammer / fraudster

    This is Standard Bank. As many people had reported it to be spam and Truecaller blocked the number I had repeated fraudulent transactions on my card this morning. Thankfully once I contacted Standard bank via my mobile app, they returned the call and stopped all suspicious transactions.

    They claim to be Standard bank because they are Standard bank. People marking it as suspicious could cause untold damage.
