Caller asked whether I approved a new debit order with Vodacom. I said no and he said they won't put it through. Then went on to tell me that there was a suspicious cash send of R5000 and advised to go onto the app where I can go onto the Absa app and reverse the transaction by putting in an digit code which he gave. He gave a reference number and a number I could call should I have questions. He was sus from the beginning and I politely told him I'd be confirming what he said by contacting the fraud division. He even agreed. I reported his number to the fraud line.
