So just out of curiosity I called an add on Locanto which was for a sex “meet up”. (Something I’d never done). I know this was stupid of me.
Anyway the lady began asking me personal questions to which I responded. Then she mumbled something that I didn’t hear which I later found out was the t’s and c’s of a sex chat line. She then said “do you want to come fuck me?”
I couldn’t hear anything and said “yes?” as in Asking her to repeat herself and as soon as she started talking dirty I realised it was an adult sex chat line and cut it.
A Few weeks later I got a call from some lady called Mckhenzie claiming to be from global solutions saying that I committed fraud by not paying. She threatened to court summons me and sue me
They sent me a pdf saying that the total owed was R1700+ because the call costs R1.99 a second.
That still doesn’t make sense as the call was only 1 minute long. The lady also sent me a voice recording of the call saying if I do not pay then she will send this to my family. I just blocked the number as I figured it was probably a scam.
Then a week later the lady called me from another number which I immediately cut.
Did anyone else have this problem and if so what did you do?
