This customer gave us a R50K proof of payment on a FNB letterhead, it even had with a trade ID but we could not verify the payment. It was a chq deposit which he then immediately cancelled and it therefore bounced the same day. Always follow procedure and wait for clearance before releasing goods! We contacted the police

Be very careful - this person bought goods from us and forged Eft payments. Afterwards he scammed us out of more than R100k - by fraudulently supplying proof of payments that was on banks letterhead - He however paid cheques into our accounts which he then reversed. Do not do business with him
