Having been on discovery's website looking at insurance, they called me straight after - claiming to be from Discovery - i was interested and went through the process but luckily never got to actually giving banking details. They are not to be trusted and not representative of Discovery.

These idiots persistently called me 10 times in one day. After I blocked them they used another number to call me. was the same lady I spoke to initially. I had to be very blunt. Now 1 month later they calling me again. Time wasters.

I confirmed with discovery that Blue Mercury is indeed an accredited reseller of their product. They claim they are unaware on Blue Mercuries operational practices. I pointed out that they have no excuse and directed Discovery to this website. I encourage every person hounded by Blue Mercury to complain on Discovery Facebook page and report Blue Mercury to the Direct Marketing Association.

The guy said he was from Blue Mercury Trading "an accredited Discovery Life brokerage". When I told him sorry, I'm not interested he just kept talking. I hung up. He kept phoning until I blocked him. They are very aggressive in their telemarketing and don't seem to understand that no means no.

i was phoned by this number. sworn at for 30 seconds. then the phone put down. tried phoning back...no luck.

Starts of call with "Hi how are you?"....Blue Mercury Trading "an accredited Discovery Life brokerage"...
Very noisy background, when I advised the background was noisy she said "must be because I am calling from a call center..." - so I said "if you are calling from a call centre it should not be noisy!"....ended the call.

Even after I said no Thank You I do not want either a new or a replacement policy the call agent kept on talking. Very aggressive marketing and an unsolicited call.

when i decided to find out who this was, they want to sell added value Discovery Life insurance claiming u can claim 60% back…
untill i told him i actually am with Discovery Life… then they hung up…

Very pushy telemarketer trying to sell Discovery Life cover. Refused to email details. Worded questions / information very carefully so as to never explicitly ask my consent to go ahead with the deal offered but acted as if I had consented.

This person called from 087 353 4270 and they have my ID No. they said they're calling from Discovery Insurance and offered a better rate for Life Cover.

Called my mobile, and when I answered, just hung up the phone. But I could hear it was a call centre as I could hear other people next to the caller, speaking on phones.

Got more than 10 calls from this number. Discovery insurance telemarketing wanting to furnish telephonic quote. I asked for detai To be emailed. They did not want to do this. They had my I'd number and read it back to me. Could not answer how it was obtained. Now I ignore calls.

Keep getting calls from this company. I answered before and they were seemingly aggressive telemarketers on the phone. Wouldn't give details, just asking ALOT of questions. I now just ignore there calls.
