Called to offer "free" shares but they wanted to meet at your house. Do not take no for answer. Disrespectful when refusing. Could be con to get your banking details.

Arkikaans guy called Jakes called me and wanted to talk to my father. I asked him why, said he was with one of the big 4 banks of SA - couldn't tell me who.. and why he is making the call. I told him if he got my cell number he could get my fathers landline number or cellnumber from the system and I put the phone down. He called me back to shout at me "we will be freezing all your accounts" and he hung up. WTF

aggressive caller, doesn't take no for an answer, doesn't want to give any company details, doesn't want to say where they got my number - a scam trying to bully vulnerable people into parting with money

Wants to set up meeting to come to my house and give me R5000 worth of shares on the stock exchange. Ask very personal questions about my bank cards and limits etc. Asked if I have a computer if I have an internet connection and declined meeting me anywhere else but my home or office.

A certain Jan Spies called from this number and said that he is from Diverse International. He told me my portfolio has been approved. When I declined he accused me that it is people with bad attitudes like mine that is the cause for the Corona Virus in the world. Then he terminated the call.

Guy speaking very strange Afrikaans. Keeps phoning with deliberate mumbling when asked which company he represents.

Received 2 calls from this number within 24hrs, wanting to give me R5000 worth of shares.
2nd call was from 'Leanne' who insisted on coming to my office for a meeting. She can't email document as it's over 300 pages long. Refused to confirm the name the company they're calling from and kept insisting they represent all the major banks.
'Leanne' got annoyed when questioning if she got my number off a classified website I've used recently. She then got really aggressive when I called her a scam artist.
Shady as hell. DO NOT TRUST THESE IDIOTS.
The background noise you can hear which make it sound like a 30 seater call-centre is a recording you can get off of Youtube.
This is a syndicate with 3 to 5 people at most. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE WHO CALLS YOU WITH AN INCREDIBLE OFFER BUT GET'S AGGRESSIVE WHEN YOU SAY YOU'RE NOT INTERESTED. -

Guy and woman speaking together asking personal questions about what work you do, do you have credit card, what the limit is, are you at home or work etc. Not entertained and gave incorrect information they eventually ended the call. Very suspect!!!!

They try to scam you into giving you your own fake portfolio of R 5000.
They are con artists.. i had to put down because they do not take no for an answer. -

Phone me asking to speak to my husband said no this is my number. Then requested his number, I ask the lady what is in connection with, she said to me there is no need to be rude and they will freeze his stuff then put the phone done.

Phoned canvasing membership for Afrisake. Pretty aggressive, wanted to sign me up and wanted monthly contribution. I do not do any business over the phone. Searched the number and found these comments. Must be a scam.

Googled the number whilst on the phone to Kobus from Capital Online. Very noisy background. Once I started reading through these reviews I hung up. He called back but I cut the call. Then added to my blocked list.

Also Jakes - wanted to give me R 5000 in shares, but must come and see me. After telling him many times I am not interested, he asked whether I have a credit card. I said yes. He then wanted to know what is the overdraft limit, so I made up an amount (largish). He then asked how much I owed on this account and I gave the same number!!! - He said they will phone me again when I have access to some funds... CRIMINALS!!!
Nicolas replied 2018-08-02 10:33:35I had exactly the same call. Then i said i dont have a credit card and he said credit card needed for this offer. "We will call you again when you have access to some funds" and hung up. What surprises me is they knew my name! -
Phoned asking for my dad. Just said he was with one of the four big banks in South Africa. He refused to tell me in connection with what he was looking to speak to my father just said he is phoning on behalf of his boss and he is urgently trying to get hold of my dad.

Caller had wrong number. wanted person's number from me. Shouted at me and through down the phone.

Andre called me, when I told him I am not buying anything and killed the phone he had the audacity to cal back, that is when I lost it and cussed something horrible, I HATE telemarketers!!

Two occasions they called, sounds like a coloured woman, wanted to speak to my son in connection with a supposed cash withdrawal from his credit card acoount. Reported this to our bank who informed us that it was a scam trying to get personal info to do online fraudulent transaction. Second time they wanted to speak to my husband, they wanted his telephone number. They identified themselves on both occasions as Capital Online, working for the four major banks in SA. Reported them a second time to our bank. Noisy background also on the line. The second time the call was from tel number 0121112003. I tried calling the number, but call won't connect.

A 'JP' called while I was busy with a sick baby. Started telling me how bad the economy etc was. I asked what he sold. He told me he's no salesman, else he'd work for Checkers. That he had something I needed. I told him I have all I want. He argued that I was rude to not even give him a chance.... I put the phone down. He rang again, telling me ti get a 'spine' and put the phone down in my ear.... Very rude, pushy and aggressive

Harassing for MONTHS now. Unable to get them to disclose details about company. Want to get debt recovered. Does not EXIST.

Super aggressive and abusive sales person who lied about getting my contact detail. SCAM selling fake shares. I put down the phone and the salesman called me back just to swear and hurl further abuse at me and slam the phone down. Tried calling back but it seems like an outbound number only.

This Number is harassing me,they won't take No for a answer. Don't know how they get my numbers or info. "Was thinking that this may be a scam because the persons that called me had the same names or surname as me" (Its a scam tactic to familiar victims by using a name that they know or trust)

My husband received a call from this nr, and when he told the lady caller politely a couple of times that he is not interested, she kept insisting that she will phone him back on Monday.
He eventually lost it and asked her whether she is actually listening to what he's saying, actually swearing her, because clearly she didn't want to take no for an answer, where after a man came on the line and told him off for speaking rudely to a lady.
Hubby told the man that clearly she is not a lady, as she doesn't understand what NO means. -
