Just received the SMS telling me I have subscribed. I'm pretty sure this verges on illegal marketing activity by MTN. I'm going to contact the ombudsman in this regard. No Response from MTN on this issue... but there again.. they are useless like that...
How do we get out of this supposed subscription?

Phone MTN and immediately issue an instruction to have it blocked / removed. Customer Care claims it was a pop-up activation and the subscription will remain valid until cancelled!

I am getting sms's from this number stating that i have subscribed to a website for R5.00/day. It turns out be pornographic websites and what not. This must be a scam and is there something to be done about this guy?
