For the last 2 days, i have been receiving smses from this number (each time with a different One-Time PIN), the message reads as follows:
<#> FNB :-) You are about to link the app to your banking profile for access to your accounts OTP: 7842. Don't give away this OTP! Cs/hucMYZv+
I am, in no way, trying to think any app to my banking profile so this is extremely suspicious.
When I look the number up on Truecaller, it says FNB InContact, but it clearly isn't if linked to so many scam calls on the tellows website. As a precaution, I called my bank and had a total shutdown done on my bank profile - inconvenient to have to visit a bank and set up again, but the best way to ensure my banking security.
