Also have obtained my partners details and are threatening to call her as well!!!
Catch 22 here as not sure if I can get into trouble for using the work telephone for this and also the fact of having to explain to my partner.

I read all the comments and taking from this that it's a scam and should just ignore it and call it a bluff.

I admitted calling, admitted to being given a service. I asked to be given until end of month. They called me around the 11th March 2019. I immediately sought legal advice from a lawyer friend. She told me not to pay. I called a friend who is a captain at the SAPS who also told me they are a SCAM. I SHOULD NOT PAY A CENT AND IGNORE THEIR CALLS. She, yes they're women, I'm resourceful like that lol... she called them and told them not to call me again or else she's handing them over to the Hawks. Needless to say, I told them where to get off before that too. I did not pay a cent and they have not called me or sent any summons since.
According to the SAPS, they need to obtain a court order to get your personal information. I called the sex chat line a week before they called me. So the chances of them having gotten the court order is zero. The SAPS also said that the issue is so small, it would be reviewed by the court and be kicked out as it would be a waste of the court's time. There is a section about it, can't remember it now. If you read the National Credit Act, you will see that they have not even followed the procedure laid out there. Which already makes their case bogus.
This is clearly extortion, which is punishable by 15 years in prison according to South African law. Please tell these people to f. off as soon as they call you and tell them you are reporting them to the Hawks.
I will be uploading pics if I can of how I told them kak! Their last response (Jolene) was and I quote "You are clearly not man enough to face your problems" to which I responded "Yes I am, that's why I am telling you to proceed!"
So please don't pay them, go to the police with their number and expose them. Their accusation of you opening a fruadulent account is bogus! They are acting unlawfully. They are a unregistered, even if they are, they are still acting illegally! -

But you have nothing to fear. If they threaten to tell your boss/family/partner, call their bluff and tell them they will be breaking the law if they do that.
If they phone you again, offer to meet them at a police station where they must show you the proof in the presence of the police that you owe them money, as well as proof that they got your other details legally. I'll bet they'll just make long-winded excuses. Tell them that's the only way you'll do it, and if they don't like it, they must leave you alone or you'll charge them with harassment. Whatever else you do, don't EVER agree that you owe them anything or that you'll pay them. Sooner or later, they'll give up hassling you if you stick to your guns. -

Hi All, I got contacted by these people. They said that they I have been charged with fraud. For not paying. I will admit that I called. After she rushed through the T&C’s I didn’t even register what she said and she started with her act of erotic questions where I spent at maximum 3-4 seconds on before hanging up. They have my voice recording, the images it for me when I answers. I am under age and I’m worried they will contact my parents as my mom is the account holder. I blocked their numbers on all of my intermediate family numbers phones before they contact them. I worried though cause they have my moms ID number. Can they do anything with it? Can they send court orders? It’s been two days now and nothing has happened. I got worried at the beginning and asked my Uncle to lay them but their account was frozen from the bank due to scammers using that account.

If somehow they manage to contact you again and you speak to them, ask them for the case no. and also at which police station they filed those fraud charges. I guarantee that they will not be able to give you that information because it doesn't exist.

People who comment here, saying that it’s a scam having nothing to gain from telling you it’s a scam—other than maybe doing the decent and human thing by warning others.
In contrast, anyone who tries to tell you that it’s legit is very probably part of the scam and has a direct interest in you paying these crazy demands. Since there’s nothing to stop anyone here commenting under many different names, it’s also highly likely that all the comments saying they are legit came from the same one or two people.
Furthermore, a phone call, even if recorded, will not stand up in court as a “final demand” for payment. These people have not followed that process and any magistrate will throw their case out, probably with costs, once you point out all their procedural flaws.
Ask yourself why it is that not one single person among those who say that it’s genuine has provided any tangible or verifiable evidence to prove this. Not one. All we’ve got is an apparent bunch of people saying that it’s so, but not the tiniest bit of evidence to prove it.
Also, the fact that they have your address and personal particulars besides your phone number and perhaps your name strongly suggests that they came by this information illegally.
Finally, if they send you SMS threats, there’s a very good chance that they are in breach of both ECTA and CPA regulations.

Well I never did that but she has an incorrect name for me but she has my correct date of birth, she also has my work number and now she harasses me at work. How is it possible for them to get my work details. What is going on.

Give your court case no., the court and the date it was heard in if you want others to believe you. Without these details anyone in their right mind will dismiss your claims as being in the interests of the scammers: trying to scare others into paying.
But I'll bet that you'll make up all sorts of lame excuses to avoid giving those details--that is, if you respond at all, which I doubt.
But if you actually supply those details and they check out, I will instantly change my tune and tell everyone that this thing is genuine.

Please note my brother is going through the same experience, a pop up appeared on his cell,he as a touch screen cell, he touched it and it rang,a lady answered & asked him random questions, his name, address, id number, which he gave incorrect details,thereafter she went straight into explicit sex, whereby the call was disconnected. This took place on 26/11/2015. Yesterday my sister & mum received a call from Adelle from SocialNetwork (031 1013203) & 0799355323, which is constantly engaged. Harassing for R1560.00, i responded and informed the lady we reporting this to the SAPS for harassment, cos they want to press fraudulent charges.

My brother is mentally disabled and got an SMS from these people, supposedly a "Final notice" to pay R1,300.00 today of "outstanding R1,590.00". The SMS includes a request to fax proof of payment to 0862605580.
Account details for payment given as FNB, Acct No. 62335318590, branch code 250655, account holder "SOCIAL NETWORK".
Unfortunately, my brother phoned them on the 0311013203 and gave his name & physical address before he contacted me.
I told my brother that SMS is not a legitimate way demand payment, and to tell them they must send him a printed itemised invoice, and otherwise also to ignore their calls and SMSes.
