They get just your number from some National database. And then think they have the right to harass someone. Where is the POPI act? It is supposed to stop people using a personal thing like a personal phone number, should it not?

I completely agree with you. The constant phone calls throughout the day feel like a form of harassment and cause me to lose focus at work. Unsolicited calls should be illegal, as they can disrupt an individual's daily routine and cause unnecessary stress. Instead, it would be better to send an initial text message and request permission for a call at a convenient time.

I've asked these people to STOP but they keep calling. They have no limits. I've blocked numerous calls each and every time they phone. I don't know why there is a POPI act if these people can harass you with phone calls. Im sick of it.
