"Louis" called said he was from "Premium Save" and that they got my contact details from a website that I had been on "like Money Mavericks or Origin Five". When I pressed him on where they really got my details from, and how they comply with the POPI act he got cagey and pretended the line was breaking up and hung up on me. I looked up the companies he mentioned and they have two directors - Premanathan Govender and Sibusiso Ronald Biyela. There is a long list of associated companies under these two individuals, all of which have very little web presence. There is zero chance that my data was acquired from any of the websites associated with these companies and zero chance that my data was obtained with my consent. They choose names for these companies that are the same as more well established companies overseas.
