Please report live callers to the ICO (if you are already registered with the TPS) and silent or abandoned calls to OFCOM. After a few people have informed here that the caller is a scammer/spammer, your additional post is not useful or helpful, frankly. What IS helpful is to report the call to relevant authorities so they do not continue calling you or anyone else. Spam callers do not care if you post here they DO worry when they are reported to Ofcom or the ICO which takes 5 minutes or less.

Phone me and had all my info from telkom also birthdate and id. Aggressively marketed wifi unlimited wouldnt take no for an answer. Tried to force me into contract, but eventually i told him that he made me feel too uncomfortable and i terminared conversation. He really was a harda????? Individual!

phoned me to sell TELKOM data and cell contract with a router. She used my maiden name that she could not even pronounce. My cell number is a 3year old cell contract with another subscriber and I'm married 7 years.
don't know where they got my mismatch detail. -

This number is definitely Telkom telesales/scammers. What worries me is the fact that they have all my details.Home and cell numbers.

Hi I have also posted a comment complaining about the number.
Recently I have discovered it is telkom calling and it is only about the service and upgrades.
If you say you have no interest in changing your current service and telkom should not make any changes they will say thank you and won't bother again.Gideon replied 8/19/15, 7:14 PMUntil the next time. Why do Telkom share our personal details with telemarketers? -

Keep getting calls from this number and my phone shows it as "harassment"? Would seriously like Telkom to look into the matter as this is very disturbing - they phone my mobile number on a daily basis!!! I have now blocked the number but I would however like to get behind the reason for their calls as they could harass others and make them fall into a trap!!!!

Called me to say they are verifying that I ordered a product from Telkom and needed to verify my bank details and my ID number. Like an idiot I gave my ID number and they hassled me for the bank details and I told them to send me a debit order form to complete and she said she couldn't.
She then called back 5 minutes later saying the technician couldn't come out until I paid the installation fee and she needed my bank details.
I'm annoyed because I did sign up for an offe on Telkoms site and don't understand how these fraudsters got that info... Even the package I ordered.
It's an inside job!
