   This is an authentic SARS number and should be saved as such regardless of where the caller is based. There's no rule in SARS that states that if you're, for e.g. based in Bloemfontein, you should be called by staff in that city only. Accounts are nationalised.

   Lady by the name of Constance called me and stated it was SARS. tHEN NUMBER SHOWED jOHANNESBURG AND i AM IN cAPE tOWN. sHE HAD ALL OUR INFO. wHEN i ASKED HER FOR HER MAIL ADRESS SHE ASKED MINE AND WILL SEND ME BLANK MAIL. NEVER RECEIVED IT.

   This number is annoying ,they treat hen me telling me that ''I must pay my outstanding with 2 days '' other they will take legal action . When I tell them that I will go to SARS to sort this out ,they says that will be late .Anyone please advise what are this people all about ?

   They called our office asking for information on an Invoice number of one of our customers. They wanted to know the customer name, banking details and days of transactions the customer pays into our account.
   
   This is definitely a scam number.

   This is an exercise to verify if the invoice submitted was authentically issued by your company. Possibly an Auditor calling you. Please co-operate.

   RECEIVED CALL THIS MORNING FROM THIS NO.CLAIMING TO BE SARS,I OWE THEM MONEY.THE LADY ASKED FOR MY ID.NO I REFUSED TO SUPPPLY SHE PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME.
   I BEGAN GETTING CHEEKY WITH HER THEN SHE GAVE UP!!!!

    I wont lie if I say this number is phoning me weekly for the past 3 years! Ridiculous isnt it! They are looking for Dallas Transport. Hundreds literally hundreds of times I tell them this is the wrong number. Ive pleaded with them to remove my number from their system as I am a private individual. So January I phoned THE REAL SARS, asking them to remove and check out why "sars" has been harrasing me the past 3 years - just to tell me after checking my ID that SARS has no business phoning me as my taxes are up to date. So today again these people phone from this number, utter RUDE! They do not identify themselves, I suspect its some debt collections because they told me if I do not co operate they will PROCEED! lol. I asked sars what I should do and they told me to fill in the online fraud suspicion form of some sort. Ive done that. But still they phone. Ive been nice explaining, Ive been rude. Ive been told to block theur number at my service provider. Ive been told to co operate BY REAL SARS just to get info on these people. They are just so rude. And that to someone they are actually not even looking for. If they are debt collectors they should know that there are certain rules they have to abide by they can not go around threatening people. Good luck, hope someone can find out who this company is so they can be reported to the council of debt collectors.
