Uses same MO all the time and scamming people every day all over SA - will call you with either a repair ,reservation, etc. , will then call back to request you to buy him some airtime, will then call back to ask if you can give him the number on the voucher - no show or fake address - sounds like old Afrikaans guy , calls himself Boet, Johan, etc . Just to show him that I mean business in tracing him and that he will see his ass , I am offering R5000 to anyone that can help us trace him !!! Hope he see's this so that he can change his way's ....

he did the same to us called us on Monday saying he has over R20 000 worth of meat to donate and that we need to collect asap we got the church involved to collect and he also scammed them of R275 airtime this man sounded so genuine and because we do have a donor with the name Rossouw that donates milk we did not think anything of it and thought the individual picking up the meat is just upset because he is lost as he could not find the place at the end we had a huge fight with them and they with us blaming each other, this man is a pig and must go to hell especially for giving hungry people hopes like that. he now uses 0714940791

5. Said his farm was 25 km out of town. (no farm in that area).

Same Magnus Rossouw conned me today with airtime, this time using 0724034787 , claiming he owned a farm near Bronkhostspruit that was burgled and he needed 3 new doors, promised to pay in cash and give us free meat hamper as it was weekend.

We received a call from a potential donor offering meat to the value of R14000. The address seemed iffy, and so we Googled Laagwater, melkery en boerdery. Thank goodness! we came across your website and had a good read. He called back this morning 4/5/17 to see if we had made a plan yet. I said that we had and asked him what name he would be using today and how much airtime he would be asking for. He swore and put down the phone. The name used this time was Leon Scheepers and telephone number 082 705 4052. thank you for this service.

Received a call from a Leon Scheepers at 082 705 4052 offering my animal welfare organization the meat of two cows. Had to be collected immediately because he doesn't have cold storage. Said farm was 15kms outside Heidelberg. On our way to collect, he asked for R275 airtime to be purchased and code sent to him because his wife was paying wages and he couldn't get into town from the farm to get airtime.... Needless to say, his phone was switched off once we sent the code and we never found the farm. BIG SCAM. This man is utter scum and has no conscience.

Requested us to come fetch today, told us to meet him at the Standerton off ramp as his farm is difficult to find. Then asked our driver to just stop and also get him R275 airtime and send him the voucher no. When we said that we will not be doing this he said " no problem at all, send your driver anyway, I will meet him at the off ramp". Upon our arrival he was nowhere to be found and his phone was switched off. We asked at the garage and nearby farms, all of which have obviously never heard of his farm. Waste of time and petrol.

Organised a truck to go to Heidelberg, on the way there we were contacted, they require R600 airtime, the'll give back once we are there with biltong... 18km later, no farm, no goods, no Boet Rossouw, R600 gone..

Received a call from a Kobus Roets at 082 705 4052 offering our preschool for children with special needs the meat of two cows. Also, as with previous callers, had to be collected immedaitely. Said his farm was 25km outside Pretoria on the way to Bela-bela. Said he has a farm called Langlaagte, Melkery en Boerdery. Thanks to this site, we identified him as a scammer, and on his return call, when confronted, he put the phone down.
