Was phoned this morning, first on landline and afterwards on cell phone number. Was informed that our housekeeper suddenly died and money was needed for a funeral. Person presented as the brother of our housekeeper. Of great concern is that person had both landline and cellphone number. It is unsure if he knew housekeepers name but it seems not. We were caught offside. It was immensely traumatic to get such a call as our housekeeper is part of our family. She and her daughter.

this number belongs to a Scam - Fraud Call. Perpetrator has your details and name..and could arrive at your home. The Fraudster claims to be from Dept of Labour and is a danger to domestic staff as he tries to get family details and ID number and home address from them - 24 hours later reports them to be dead. Says he is the son and his mother died during the night, they now need money. Where are the landline details coming from? Be very vigilant with this caller (who called me at 6am!)

This person phoned, lying about who he is, introduced himself as my maid's (Which I don't have)brother. Very suspicious and then just hung up.
