   Was called twice by this number. Indian accent. First a man and then the next day a lady. Trying to tell me my pc is infected with viruses and asking me to give them remote control of the pc via internet so that they can fix the issue. Scam. Have a friend with a computer service centre. Once they have control of your pc, they either encrypt the drive or lock you out and change the admin password. you are then asked to pay them to have your pc restored. Failure to pay, will result in total data loss.

   I have received two calls from this number - last Monday 5 Sept and today 16 Sept. Strange accent, man says $4,300 has been charged to my credit card - VisaMastercard! It's either one or the other. I knew this was a scam and told the man to go take a hike, at which point he became abusive. I reported this to my bank, there were no illegal transacations on my credit card and it was also reported to their fraud department. First it was the Microsoft scam, now this one.

   Freaking criminal scammer - Chinese person (female) mentioned there was an attempt to debit my card for four thousand and something Rand. Wanted me to fetch my cell phone and my credit card (they were in my lounge). When I told her if she was calling from my bank, she should know the expiry date of my credit card, why must I fetch it, she was rude and asked me if it was too much trouble to stop fraud on my card. At this point I realised with 100% certainty that she was a criminal and I told her where to go.

   But this is ridiculous now. Isn't there anyway they can be stopped?!
   
   I'm sure that there are people who will not be aware and provide their details to this scam.

   Scam - also claimed that my card is being used in China, want all my card details to stop the transaction.

   Regular calls asking about a computer owner. Assumption that it is a scam of some sort. Especially considering why a ptm number would call ec for a computer.

   My mother received a call from this number on her landline asking for my cellphone number claiming that someone is trying to make a purchase on my account in China and asked for my cell number.
