I recently applied for a job and this man phoned me claiming he's calling from HR at Plascon. Told me to secure the job I must pay him R5000.Half upfront and the remainder on my first salary. Said the money must be deposited into Al Baraka bank (which is a muslim only bank and this guy is clearly not muslim) I phoned Plascon they confirmed it is a scam there is no such person in the company. He has been doing this for months. Be vigilant!

Plascon is in Mobeni,the phone numbers in Mobeni/Bluff/Clairwood start with 031-465. Montclair woodlands (which is right above Mobeni) start with 031-462 or 031-469. Also check their number on True Caller, its registered to some neotell line. It should show the company.
