A very agressive guy demanding my ID number and date of birth called me on by this number 0318307200....telling me that he is working for value city call centre calling on behalf of Durban University of Technology, to confirm the subjects I am to gonna study next year, since I have applied for a diploma in Journalism....I tol him that he is lying and taking chances on me, because firstly I have never applied in DUT for a national diploma in journalism, i told him to never call me again, i then dropped the phone....a few seconds after, i got 2 missed calls of the same number....Am happy to say this number is now on my reject list on my phone......such SCAMS.

What company is this? They have my name, my number, when they called me for the 10th time and I confirmed they talking to the right person they put the dam phone down. Iam sor irretated and fed up with this number.

I got a few miscall from this number. And as soon as I answer I hear nothing. The last one I did pick up and it was a Candice from MTN asking about me upgrading, since she knew exactly that my contract expired and what phone I had. I said yes Id like to - and she said the first 6 numbers on my ID and asked for the rest. Then I realised this is could be a scam so I left the call. They tried to phone two more times.

Also get that this number has TRIED to phone me. Luckily I have the APP - Truecaller on my phone, it blocks the number from calling. I only get notifications from the app that the number has tried to phone me (Your phone will not ring). I HATE it as much as the next person.

I finally found out who this is with the endless calling. The company is called Call Centre International South Africa (CCISA) who make calls on behalf of other companies. They have now assured me they will no longer call and remove my details from their database, but if they do continue, at least I know who the company is and can take it further.

This is a nuisance caller. Definitely they want something. They have got nothing else better to do than phone and keep quiet on the other end! Hello, how silly is that or how smart.
Maybe they do not respond to a female voice and would like a male to answer, just saying.Phoned me again the umpteenth time this afternoon. I answered the caller without saying a word and also kept quiet, waited, waited, and the other person keeps quiet wasting their phone bill. Eventually, I shouted, DON'T PHONE HERE AGAIN and the line was disconnected without a word.They are playing games, are a nuisance and should be reported but to who? -

This caller just keeps calling, playing games. When I do decide to answer, person on other end keeps quiet and then I blow a whistle loudly for their ears. I received the 6th call now this afternoon after telling previously answered call last week to a lady that she must never phone here again....I think that some scam or either wants to confirm your personal details etc. -

I had a few missed calls from this number (always during working hours) they say they're from ABSA selling home loan insurance. When I said I'll check it out on ABSA's website the guy became agitated implying only he could arrange the offering and I could not do it directly with ABSA - absolute hogwash. Never give your bank account details or any details to anyone who calls you out of the blue. Next time I get an unsolicited call I'll tell them the phone owner is dead.

I have had several phone calls from this number every day for the past week. The caller says they are from Velocity Mobile and is aggressively persistant. How does one remove oneself from these kinds of lists? Surely the company has to take some responsibility? If you say no the first time why are you not removed?

So I answered, and an unnamed person, whom I am not allowed to refer to as the a-word in this instance, asked me whether this is a good time and I lost it.
