Called using 012 54 3621 harrasing me for R1794. Also sent me an email claiming I had committed fraud on an old tinder account I had. They had my ID number, work number and work address. I suggest blocking this number. A lady named Adele had contacted me. Beware people!

Sasha-Lee - M.S Investigations said I made a sex call, they say they use voice recognition software & can prove that it is me. I allegedly made a call responding to a special deal of R150 which I had to pay by a certain time but I did not. Now I owe them R 1794 which I have to pay by tomorrow or I will be taken to court. When I tried to question she said the chat line is the largest sex chat line company in South Africa & the ladies are professional and don't sit around pleasuring themselves waiting for me to call. Good day to all, i received a call from Adele yesterday, brutally verbally assaulting me with the same predicament as you guys,and that if I not pay the same amount above I'd be taken to court and my family members will be contacted for voice recognition. As you all, at first you get startled when you receive such a call,so I called FNB and had them advise me and they told me straight up that this was a scan,I swear I was on my way to the ATM when I made this call,shit scared of my family and being taken to court. But then I calmed myself down and logically looked at the situation,I had done nothing wrong. She uses fear and impulse to get money from people,yes I did call,so why should I be charged cause I instantly dropped the call after I had noticed it was automated,how did I know that? I called about three times and the lady said the same thing in the same tone every time, asking frivolous questions. Guys, FN. Advised that I go to SAPS and report this and open a case of fraud. Firstly, these guys want you to pay so they won't play the recording to your family members, that's extortion, blackmail and they also obtain your personal information illegally,they also harass you into fear, don't keep quiet about things like this. She sent me a dodgy PDF, utterly unprofessional and stupid with the same details you have all received. Don't fret, they will use fear to make you pay, I did not pay as this happened yesterday and also sent her a text via WhatsApp telling her I've taken them to court for their illegal act, should they have a problem they should give me their company registration and I'll be more than happy to go there with the aid of the police. This is unprofessional and please do not give in to fear. Guys these scammers won't stop until you tell them to go to hell, it's frightening at first,yes, but you are being extorted. So it's up to you if you'd rather pay low life scammers for the sake of fear or stand up for yourself, remember this is blackmail for a recording done without your consent or knowledge,if they can make you pay to keep quiet,be certain they will again in the near future. Don't succumb to bullies. Let them do what they might,not at your expense, listening at the recordings there's nothing wrong because the automated machine only asks you questions of whether you're over eighteen,your name and would like to fuck her. Don't be a victim. Take them to court if they persist.

I am latest victim to this scam - received a call from Suzanne Nel - ms investigations a Bloemfontein number, claiming I owe R1749 for a sex chat where I was recorded and guilty as charged,
I paid as they had all my details including home & work address / telephone numbers / I.D numbers of both me and spouse,
Question is where they get all this information?
What has SAPS done about this? Or a lawyer?
Hopefully they won’t phone again and will not pay again.

Hi guys, please read our comments below. These guys are scammers, DO NOT PAY THEM!!! I have consulted lawyers and policemen (a friends). My police officer friend called them and warned them never to call me again or else. They never called me again. Its been a year now almost. My lawyer friend also called and told them they are busy with extortion. Unfortunately, if you want them jailef its on you to take them to court and be dragged through the mud for calling a sex chatline. But nevertheless, you can't be jailed, nor should you be harrassed and threatened. The call was recorded without your consent, the call was being billed unprofessionally, how do you measure such a call? The amounts being asked of everyone is inconsistent too. The people calling are all from the same chatline company and they are fraudsters. Ignore them!

Hi I got a call from a number 0511110796 claiming I owe another company money ( a sex chat line, which I am guilty of) and they threatened that if I don’t pay a holding fee today by 5pm my case file will be sent to court and I will be summoned to court and blacklisted. The lady’s name is netta and the bank account is linked to a Mr K Lewis as well? The company is MS Investigations but it says in the PDF sent over WhatsApp (also very odd) that they are also chant studios. What should I do? Should I pay them? Or is it a scam and must I just ignore them and block the number?

She also stated that I need to pay R1794 into an FNB account, firstly as per the consumer protection act no call recording holds in court if the both parties are not aware from the beginning if the call. I have reported my issue to the SAPS, you are correct by saying its extortion, also they have no right without your consent to record the conversation,threaten you,to add they also need to state the conversation is being recorded. if this was a legit company why do they call you from a cell phone, they have no website, they are rude and abrupt, The police are already looking into this, They threaten to take people to court for less than 2000 rand, There lawyers fees will cost them thousands and i can tell you now from speaking to multiple lawyers, a friends mother is a judge and she has even stated she will tear them apart if they appeared in front of her, they will loose the case, and then you sue them. Ignore these people, block them, or ask them for there company registration details, address, and you go with the police to fetch the invoice, they send people a invoice over whatsapp, come on what professional company does that

Professional companies send an email and not watsapp. This is a scam and we all should creat a group and charge these guys for harassment and get them to court I will do my investigations on this company and make sure I make them cry

Like everyone here I have also received the same phone calls, WhatsApp and email from Chant investigations.
The lady who called me was extremely abusive to the point where I'm pressing charges of Crimin Injury and Intimidation. When I phoned back to talk to her manager about her behaviour I was threatened. I was also threatened that they would brake up my marriage should I not pay. I'm setting up a Gmail account and ask that every one here that had dealings with these people email me with their story and details so we can approach an attorney to get legal advice and take the matter to court. Now they want me to pay R1,750.00 because l did not pay the R150.00 during the 72 hours. I tried to phone her within the 72 houers but she did not pick up her pbone.....deliberately....untill the 72 hours runs out. -

Got a call on 2019-05-22 from this guy who told me I committed fraud on a sex chatline. Mentioned a recording and my and my wife's details. I said I couldn't talk as I was driving. Later sent me a message saying that they are obtaining a section 57 warrant for fraud, and that they will call my wife if I do not call back immediately. I will call back, but only to tell them the following: first of all I never agreed to any recording (I called to enquire, and hung up when told it is a paid service). Secondly they obtained my details illegaly. Thirdly no payment details were given. Fourth, no legal demand for payment was made via any prescribed,regulated means. And lastly,they are committing extortion. If they can provide me with all the proof in the company of a police officer, I will be happy to meet them in court to see them being sent off with costs.

Lady by the Name of Netta Potgieter called me advising that she has a claim against me in the sum of R 2988.00, advising that if i fail to make payment before 10am today she will be proceeding against me in court, i subsequently got a Family lawyer who stated that she will inquire on the matter, however when the attorney spoke to Netta, Netta was abrupt and rude, and proceeded to question the Attorneys credentials and managed to obtain her ID Number, place of residence, working history and proceeded further to harass me on Whatsapp.

So it seems I'm the latest victim here. I got a call from an abrupt man Brett claiming to be calling from Chant Studio Investigations demanding R1794 paid to FNB 62406464975. Claiming for fraud against me. They called from 0125343621 and 0661984394 . Their website domain is registered but theres no actual website page. Their company is registered to KEITH Victor LEWIS. I asked for everything in writing but they sent me a pdf over WhatsApp and via mail then called me after to make sure I got it. See also reports on 0661984394 and 0311013260
