To the person who is answering everyone on the comment site "JACK"
why must we waste our time phoning around when this company can not contact us properly? It's not our responsibility to phone a debt company when we do not owe anyone. If they have the wrong number and their telephone service can not put the call threw it's not our fault. -

My late mother had a housekeeper by the name of J. Mokoena. She opened an account at Truworths and used my late mother's phone number as her own. To get this in perspective I have to state that my mom passed away in 2002.
I had to waste a whole morning tracking this down as I have been harrassed by this number for up to five times a day...starting at 7am and ending a 9pm. As per usual it appears that the person hangs up when the phone is answered. Thanks to the person who listed the number of VVM Debt collectors as 0110844022
This is how I discovered who was using my number. Hope all is resolved now. -

They call me every night and hang up. I call ack and the call doesn't go through. If they are a collections agent are they charging me for that call that technically didn't take place.

They are a debt collection agency. They collect on behalf of companies. If u have any debt & its been handed over they will contact you 2 make arrangements. They seem 2 have a network problem with their telephones. They don't hang up, they can't hear hence the reason for the hang up.

They call you and than don't speak. I tried calling the number provided by Jack and the lady just told its the system that calls me back but she cant pick up my number from the system...and than when I asked her questions trying to be clear she flippen hanged up on me...this is irritating and stop calling me agh!!!

This number has been calling me daily and hanging up when I answered the phone. I couldn't get back to them at all, so my best solution was to add the number on my auto-reject list. Hopefully that will stop them from ever calling me again

Be wary of staff making debt and using your number as their contact number. This can carry on for years. -

I have laid a charge at the South African Police as I am gatvol for being harassed by this call 3 to 4 times a day and the Police is going to investigate this number and I hope they catch the fuckers that are harassing everybody.
