Investigator Dee reported Dinesh from MTN/Mondo with the number 011053 as Telemarketer
A guy by the name of Dinesh said he was calling from MTN, and he called to offer me MTN contract deals - data and phone. This is after I had made an enquiry on MTN's website earlier in the day for a data deal, so this seemed legit. He ended up suggesting a completely different package (which sounded better) but in retrospect, he didn't seem to have my original request on hand. And when he was reading the legal terms and providing the relevant telephone numbers, he started making reference to Mondo and MTN interchangeably and when I asked he seemed evasive, citing that the 2 work hand in hand... I was supposed to receive the details of the offer via e-mail afterwards, which I still haven't... Delivery is supposed to take place within 3 to 10 working days, I will provide an update on this. At the end of the call I was very suspicious that this was a fraudulent call - after providing all my personal & banking details. I'll provide further update on the matter.
